Selling for the Non-Sales Professional

Course Information

 Selling for the Non-Sales Professional

You don’t want to be seen as a "salesperson".  All you want to do is influence someone else to trust you with their challenges and opportunities, and then commit to a mutually beneficial relationship. Sounds simple, yet nothing seems to be happening.  You need to land a few new clients and get a few wins under your belt.

According to author Dan Pink (To Sell is Human) we’re all in sales now.   His research showed that while 1 in 9 workers are in sales (amounting to over 15 million people), he also discovered that the rest of us are also selling – not just objects, but ideas and techniques. We are persuading, negotiating, and pitching, like lawyers selling juries on their verdict or public figures selling their personal brand on social media. In fact, a study Pink commissioned showed that people spend 40 percent of their work time selling something.

The Dale Carnegie Professional Development workshop Selling for the Non-Sales Professional introduces the importance of following a proven process to guide you through the buying conversation.  The program shows you how to build trust, collaborate to identify needs, create a unique solution, and commit to a win-win outcome.
